Zebra designed the HC50 Android mobile computer for everyday healthcare tasks. Its Android operating system receives updates up to Android 16. The HC50 features the SE4720 scanning module - allowing it to capture almost any 1D/2D barcode in healthcare. It has a large, bright feedback LED that confirms successful scans, such as from patient wristbands.
For the challenges of healthcare, Zebra has equipped the HC50 mobile computer with a sealed battery compartment. Its housing is made of disinfectant-resistant, medical-grade plastic - it is cleanable with virtually all disinfectants. The HC50 has a red alarm button for fast communication, which is vital for survival. It is equipped with WiFi 6E and has a 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera for video calls. Three built-in microphones and Bluetooth headset support ensure outstanding communication.
The HC50 is also very ergonomic: it is 20% larger and 10% thinner than its predecessor TC26-HC. The contoured surface on the sides and back of the HC50's case reduces pressure points and, with shock absorbers at the bottom, ensures a secure and comfortable grip. In addition, the case is ideally balanced from top to bottom, which prevents wrist fatigue.
Excellent performance is guaranteed by a fast Qualcomm QLCM 5430 processor with 2.1 GHz and 8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage. The HC50 has a powerful BLE battery and also be used as a mobile workstation.
