The innovative touch computer Zebra TC8000 gives users in warehousing and logistics an enormous push in productivity, simplifies handling and sets new standards in mobile computing. The main advantages of the housing, which at first glance appears unusual: a high degree of handling comfort and a light weight compared to common MDE devices. Thanks to the angled scanner its barcode scanning positioning is innovative, letting users capture 1D or 2D barcodes (depending on the variant) by directly looking at the clearly arranged 4" full touch display. There is no longer a need for permanently tilting the terminal during scanning-intensive applications, which significantly reduces wrist strain and physical effort. Together with the TC8000 users in warehouses increase productivity by a double-digit percentage saving time and increasing the efficiency of every employee.

Equipped with a 1.7 GHz Dual Core processor, 1 GB RAM, either 4 GB or 8 GB Flash memory (expandable via the SD slot) and Android KitKat with Zebra's Mobility Extensions, the TC8000 offers performance and security at an enterprise level. When it comes to connectivity the handy mobile computer promises data rates of up to 150 Mbit per second, thanks to IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/d/h/i. Bluetooth 4.0 expands data transfer options. The 10.2 cm (4") high resolution full touch display always delivers sharp images, thanks to a brightness of 400 Nits; even under direct lighting it remains clearly readable. Due to a special touch surface and Corning Gorilla Glass the display is operable both with and without gloves, and remains entirely operable long-term.

A distinguishing feature of the TC8000 is the above-average battery life of three full shifts. Additionally, the PowerPrecision rechargeable batteries deliver real-time power information, so that weaker batteries may quickly be identified and exchanged, without having to shut down the device thanks to a back-up battery. For fast, efficient data capture the user has at his disposal an adaptive 1D laser scanner with the highest reading range in its class, a 2D imager and an 8 MP camera with auto-focus.
